What My Students Say

Malky Shoob New York

Elena: Tell me how I helped you?

Malky: You taught me how you touch the skin, how to be gentle, and how to work with the skin. How to listen to the skin and see how it’s reacting, and how to work with it, how to stretch it correctly. I also learned how to work with colors, how to create beautiful wings that are more harmonious with the rest of the skin.

Elena: Okay, tell me, do you feel confident?

Malky: I do. I have very loyal clients — I’ve done their lips, their eyebrows, and they keep saying, "Malky, you have to do our eyeliner as well." I was hesitant for a long time, but then I saw some shaded eyeliner work and thought, "That’s what I want to do." The only people I knew who did it were in Russia and Europe — not in the States.
When I saw your page and called, I was sold. I just needed to understand the details. I was sold. I really want to do this. I’m actually excited and ready to bring eyeliner artistry to women in New York. Thank you — it’s so much fun.
It’s challenging, with so many details I didn’t realize before — every tiny part is crucial. But once you get it right, it’s so much fun.

Elena: I presented my course "Lifting Eyeshadow". Let me know what you think, what are your thoughts?

Alicia: Oh my God, this is amazing. You put so much effort and patience into us, really put your whole heart into it. I just want to thank you, and right now I feel so confident to start my eyeliner lifting.

Elena: Let me ask you, you only did the lash line before, right?

Alicia: Yes, I know, but I want to make them happy with the lifting eye and make them look younger. That’s my goal.

Elena: Thank you so much.

Alicia: Every day feels amazing to me. Even if we work until midnight, I’m very happy with that.

Elena: Thank you so much.

Alicia: Yeah, that’s why I know you put your whole heart into me and the other students.

Alena: We’re in California, and yesterday Elena and I completed a hands-on course on a model, and I picked up quite a few life hacks — actually, not just a few, but a whole lot. I’ll share some of them now. Elena showed me how she checks perfect symmetry with the eyeliner guidelines, and it turns out to be so effective that making a mistake is nearly impossible.

I’ve never seen this method anywhere before, really nowhere. I’ve taken tons of courses, and my hand is trained for nanostropping, but it’s a completely different hand position. For eyeshadow, you need to use a different hand position — it’s totally different. I used to do small, fine shading and tightlining, but doing beyeshadow myself before this training was nearly impossible to master on my own. Elena literally rocket-launched me into the world of permanent eyeshadow.

We met a while ago at a conference, and I had seen her work before. But when you sit down and Elena shows you your mistakes and corrections, it’s pure delight. Because you can’t analyze this yourself. You think you already know everything, everything seems familiar — what could be new? But there are specific nuances. Without Elena, it would have taken me many years to reach this level.
A huge, huge thank you to you.

I highly recommend everyone come to Elena. She’s the best. Thanks so much. For anyone in the USA, this is a real discovery. For me, it was a real eye-opener. Elena is exactly how she is. I’ve taken a million courses, really. I have a lot to compare. I’ve accumulated lots of theory. But with you on eyeshadow — it’s just an amazing, right course! Thank you. You corrected my finger positioning, which really upset me. We clearly pinpointed this mistake. This must be felt to understand.
Thank you. I am very happy.

Priscilla: So I just completed Elena's two-day course, and I have to say it was very informative. She's really great at guiding you. She guided me wonderfully, and I felt super comfortable. I've been a permanent makeup artist for about nine years now and finally decided to add eyeliner to my service menu. I'm super excited to offer this to my clients.

I wasn't very afraid of taking an eyeliner course before, but Elena really, I have to say, made it simple and gave me a lot more confidence. You know, I wasn't as fearful about actually performing the service. I felt super comfortable, very well guided, and I loved that she was there with me and my model every step of the way.

And yeah, I'm super happy with the results, super happy with what I learned, and I just can't wait to share this with my clients.
